An authorized fashion site has recently released the list of most popular handbags of 2009 voted by netizens, the candidate handbags of this vote include all handbags that have shown in the fashion release of 2009 Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter and Haute Couture shows.
Chanel tops the list with six designs voted, from party bags to cruise series, intricate clutch to large handbags, you can always find one you need. The second place goes to Fendi, like Chanel, also under the direct of Karl Lagerfeld, a loud snap on the faces of people who keep mumbling that Lagerfeld is running out of creativity. Following Fendi is Lanvin,Louis Vuitton, Luella, Miu Miu, Prada, Stella McCartney and Valentino, they all have four handbags voted on the list.
39 (not including clutches with a chain) out of the most popular handbags are clutches, almost accounting for 39% of total voted bags, showing their overwhelming status.
Even if they are still clutches, the design become more creative, the small size bags are not being fogyish any more, but people focus on the funtional and practical of the bags.
